Project Management
Orbesoft will provide a project manager that will stay in constant contact with the your project leaders. Timelines and next steps will be reviewed on a weekly basis with your people to insure your goals and objectives are met on time and on budget.
Training
Orbesoft can provide you with overall system network training as well as mobile device training. In regards to the mobile device training, we recommend utilizing the train the trainer concept, whereby the individuals responsible for a given mobile computers will be trained and they will train the ultimate end users.
Software Installation
Orbesoft will install the data collection software (Orbesoft Suite / Capturesystem2) on the Windows based server. This will provide the server services and support tools included in all of our products.
Hardware Installation
Orbesoft has a team of hardware installers that can install all hardware that will be identified in the Network Site Survey and/or the Network Design. This of course is optional as many customers prefer to do this themselves or use their own providers.
Customization
Programming changes are considered to be configuration and tailoring (a much less intensive approach). For data collection systems to be successful, they must meet your needs precisely in terms of information collected and sent to your host systems. Less is more and we are experts at this service.
Implementation
All systems come with basic implementation services. These cover the configurations of host communications and other enterprise resources such as databases. We make sure our system works in your environment(s).
Design Documents
This optional service will provide a design document from Orbesoft that will encompass the functionality of each mobile transaction desired. These documents are the result of a requirements review where you are interviewed for your specific needs.
Network Design
An optional service that assists with reviews of network requirements for your systems. This may be in a single facility or a multi-location global solution.
Wireless Site Survey
A radio frequency survey taken at the facility where mobile computers will be used with the Capture System may be desired if wireless coverage is not already present. This survey will identify specific locations for the radio frequency access points which will insure radio frequency coverage in the areas of interest. This service will be performed by trained professionals certified for the respective automated data collection hardware manufacturer.
